As a professional Calligrapher, I started Karen Jewell Calligraphy in 1984, catering to the Wedding & party industry in Beverly Hills, California. Because of my fast accurate service & many font styles from which to choose, I developed a clientele that ranged from Giorgio Armani, Lee Radziwill & Escada Boutique, to the budget conscious bride and groom.

As a result, Karen Jewell Fine invitations was born. I became the master of creating Wedding Invitation ensembles that looked like Elite, Encore, Jansson and Crane for remarkably less, with no loss in quality or style.

In 1985, I began to carry a full service line of invitations, both catalogue & custom made. I gave the bride and groom exactly what they dreamed of, to custom fit their budget. Word spread & I was on the map as the wedding invitation source to hire. The Beverly Hills Hotel, Bel Air Hotel, Four Seasons, Bel Age Hotels & prominent wedding planners, referred me. Forbes Magazine, May 1988, featured Jewell Video as one of the 12 BEST videographers in the nation.
